Will Harbaugh Make the Jump to Oakland?
It looks like Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis is still trying to decide between Tom Cable and JaMarcus Russell. Yeah, I know… it should be an easy decision. The team showed signs of life when Cable decided to go with Bruce Gradkowski late this season and quite frankly, Russell is supremely talented and epically lazy.

Un… freaking… believable. After just one season at Tennessee, head coach Lane Kiffin is on his way back to the University of Southern California. Kiffin takes over for Pete Carroll, who decided to jump to the NFL as coach of the Seattle Seahawks.
Mark McGwire Used Steroids
Well duh… Is there anyone out there that didn’t already know this? Former home run slugger Mark McGwire confirmed what everybody already assumed, that he was juiced up on steroids during his baseball career. But, he failed to mention the human growth hormone he used, too.
Derek Jeter is Engaged
Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly are engaged and plan to tie the knot in November, according to the New York Post: After months of speculation that the Yankees’ hunk and his sexy steady Minka Kelly are headed to the altar, The Post has learned that the super couple may have settled on a wedding date — Nov. 5.
Texas Tech Hires Tuberville
Multiple sources are now reporting that Texas Tech has hired former Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville to replace the fired Mike Leach. A news conference is set for Sunday at 3 P.M. eastern in Lubbock, Texas to officially introduce Tuberville.
Pete Carroll is Headed to Seattle
Pete Carroll is reportedly close to signing to a five-year deal to become the new head coach of the Seattle Seahawks. According to the Los Angeles Times, Carroll will make $7 million per year as the Seahawks President and General Manager. Carroll currently makes about $4 million per year and has been the head coach of the USC Trojans since 2001.
